Volunteer Coordinator

CASA for Lancaster County has an opening for a Volunteer Coordinator (fulltime 40 hours/week – limited benefits). The Volunteer Coordinator provides professional staff support to CASA volunteer advocates ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for volunteer supervision, coordination of cases and assisting with volunteer training. Qualifications

The Volunteer Coordinator should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Child welfare system/DHHS, non-profit, or juvenile justice/legal experience strongly desired.
  • The ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening)

Other Information

  • Work hours are Monday – Friday; 9:00 to 5:00 PM/ 40 hours per week
  • Salary range – hourly (40 hours per week) $24.50 - $26.00/hour – depending upon experience and/or education
